Coined by the Sydney Morning Herald as Sydney’s hottest and most exclusive New Years Day soiree, CATALINA NYD returned in 2020 with its biggest (SURPRISE) headliner yet – The Bag Raiders, and an incredible line up of supporting entertainment throughout the day including Yolanda Be Cool and Barney Cools DJ’s.

Traffic were commissioned by the venue to design a print and digital campaign to drive awareness and ticket sales for the iconic event and activate the venue on the day, incorporating major sponsors into the design.

The brief
The brief – colourful, fun, European beach club vibe with a hint of The Bag Raiders. As such, we created a lively, modern and electric campaign brand designed to complement the venues unique and individual identity.

Our solution

Our multi-channel messaging in the lead up led to a sold-out event within only two weeks of going live and activations on the day generated mass awareness and engagement across social media, online and print media.

The result, a highly successful event for both the venue and all partners involved.
