Digital Strategy Director – Melbourne

As Traffic’s new Digital Strategy Director, your comprehensive media and marketing expertise, and specialised skills in the search space, will be essential to help provide strategic thought leadership on key clients within our portfolio, primarily in the Property space – so relevant experience in this category is a must .

Demonstrating an intimate understanding of how consumers interact with channels and technology, this newly created role demands a focus on how to most effectively solve clients’ business challenges through an orchestrated system of paid, owned and earned touchpoints that inspires connected creativity.

This pivotal role will be an integral part of enhancing the effectiveness of all of the creative campaigns that the agency puts out into the world, ensuring that the core comms idea is properly integrated across the channels that best meet the brand’s communications tasks.

 

About The Role

  • The lead agency authority and contact on a range of accounts for a mix of our clients (primarily in the property space) that utilise a range of ad platforms and digital marketing channels
  • Working in concert with the Digital, Social Media and Account Management teams to strategise campaign solutions and create marketing calendars and campaigns that address their business and comms needs
  • Develop, implement and optimise advanced digital strategies (strong focus on Google Ads and Paid Social)
  • Planning, executing and tracking paid media campaigns, continually optimising for  enquiry and leads
  • Providing analysis and insights that identify campaign issues, and appropriate potential opportunities and enhancements for them
  • Keeping across the latest client & category trends to ensure that strategic search, display and remarketing campaigns are created and implemented successfully.
  • Ensuring that the campaigns devised continually deliver against client’s KPIs and expectations
  • Continually amplifying revenue streams on existing clients
  • Involvement in new business pitches where required
  • Help plan, facilitate and execute workshops – brand and digital
  • Produce and present clear and concise reports that clients understand and value

 

About You

  • Effective analytical, time and task management skills
  • Strong insights lead approach to identify problems and take proactive measures to rectify them
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience in Google Ads, Business Manager (Facebook and Instagram ads) and Google Analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compelling, persuasive presentation skills
  • Outstanding stakeholder (internal & external) management skills
  • A background in a relevant agency (brand, digital or media) working on clients within the Property category
  • An energetic team player
  • An ability to ‘roll up the sleeves’ to get the job done
  • A successful multi-tasker and ‘juggler’
  • A sense of humour

 

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
