Waugh in the West “A Huge turn out” All Star Twenty20 Cricket Match

To celebrate the opening of the St Clair Oval and Sports Field on Wednesday 15 February, 3,000 fans came out to watch the Woodville District Cricket Club take on Steve Waugh and the reigning SANFL premiers, the Woodville West Torrens Football Club (Eagles). Hosted by Wayne Phillips, the All Stars Cricket game included with past and present cricket and football players including Steve Waugh (former Australian Test Cricket Captain), Bernie Vince and Jared Petrenko (Eagles / Adelaide Crows), Tim Nielsen (former Australian coach and Redback), Trent Hentschel and other local sports stars.
